It's a New Season

(We really need to get some people writing here!)

Imagine this! We've got two plays currently under rehearsal, and one play about to go into auditions, and the latest thing on our blog is about Todd's movie. So, I'm feeling a moral need to update what's happening.

Tony is playing puppet master to a bunch of actors and soon to be very busy backstage people doing "Opening Night". And if you ever need a producer, you should get in touch with Lori Macala. What a whirlwind.

Gaye and Roxanne and Stacey and Brian are leading a bunch of young people around for the musical "Fame" (everybody sing it now: I wanna live forever!). Haven't been there to check out rehearsals yet, but they did have 50+ turn up at auditions.

Which brings me to my project: "Ravenscroft". Now, some of you may be confused by the title, cuz you've heard it was supposed to be "Mary's Wedding". Well, there was a small little issue about the rights to Mary not being available to amateurs yet... So we're going with "Ravenscroft" a who-dun-it mystery brought to you by Don Nigro(then click on his name), author of "Specter" and "Mariner" and, Curt's favourite, "Something in the Basement". It's a great and funny play with some cool twists starring 5 women and one male inspector. Auditions will be the week of October 17th to 23rd. Look for a more formal announcement with time and place.

So, it's off I go on another project. Why don't you come along for the ride.

  • Well, I've already said as much to you in conversation, but I might as well make it public -- I'll be at the auditions, without a doubt.

Five women and one man -- who *wouldn't* come to auditions like that?
